Frank joined Toastmasters
International in 1986 in Fort Worth, Texas
(District 25) and has been an active and dedicated
member ever since. He has served in several leadership
roles, including
Lieutenant Governor of Education and Training
and District
Governor.
Frank met his wife
through Toastmasters in 1991, and together they have
continued to share their passion for communication and
leadership development. For more than two decades, they
have volunteered as mentors for
Toastmasters Gavel Clubs—supporting
members at the
Jessup Correctional Facility for Women for five
years, a men’s
facility for fifteen years, and most recently,
helping to establish a program at the
Howard County
Detention Center for three years.
Frank retired from
Northrop
Grumman after a 31-year career as a
Field Engineer,
working on radar systems for fighter aircraft in Texas,
Utah, California, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia,
Maryland, and the Netherlands. He also spent five years
as a civilian aboard
several U.S. Navy
aircraft carriers, providing radar support at
sea.
An avid traveler,
Frank and his wife have visited
all 50 U.S.
states and their capitals, and have explored
115 countries
since 2001. His favorite destination is
China,
while Karen's favorite is Italy.
Frank’s home club
is the
Northrop Grumman Gaveliers (#3160/D18), where he has
been a proud member for
more than 34
years.
