Patricia Pines has been an unofficial student, then teacher, all her working life. Just recently retired as a 39-year federal employee, she speaks 5 languages imperfectly. During her career, she taught Briefing Skills for Non-native speakers of English for 10 years, and traveled extensively. Patricia has been a Toastmaster since 1989, and her membership has been a source of education and joy to her. She is currently a member of 4 Toastmaster clubs, and served in all club leadership roles as well as been an Area Director in both Maryland and Delaware. She firmly believes there is no better friend than a fellow Toastmaster.
